Sam M. Sunde is a Norwegian-based art student with an interest in photography, filmmaking, writing, and mixed media. Studying at DTK - Bærum, Sam explores a wide variety of themes, ideas, and narratives, typically delving into human experiences like memories, grief, emotional residue, and trauma. Their practice centers on narrative. How it takes shape, how it collapses, how it re-emerges in fragments long after the fact.

Their practice centers on narrative—how we carry it, inherit it, and reshape it. Through image and sequence, they examine the character's shaping through their childhood, and how one can remember and face it. It traces the fragmented story of two siblings, and the life they lived.
